Ian Scott is a sculptor based in New York City.

Working predominately in kinetic sculpture, Ian incorporates natural objects like flowers, pebbles, sticks, bark, moss and lichen into contemporary art that moves as it interacts with the air.

He presents these objects in new formats to the viewer, often hanging or balancing precariously overhead, calling attention to the intricate design of nature through juxtaposition with harsh materials like iron and steel,
